BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Ticketmaster allows invitees to accept and save complimentary tickets via TicketManager email to their Ticketmaster account as well as save to their smartphone and transfer tickets if needed. This Job Aid will walk through the steps of creating a Ticketmaster account for an Invitee if they do not have one.
Note - Invitees must have a Ticketmaster account in order to accept their tickets.
CREATING A NEW TICKETMASTER ACCOUNT FOR AN INVITEE
1. Invitees will receive an email notification from the Casino Arizona TicketManager account indicating they have complimentary tickets to accept for an event. Please note:
a. Tickets are emailed from a Casino Arizona noreply@ticketmaster.com email address.
b. An expiration date is listed below the “Accept Tickets” button.
c. The easiest way to accept tickets is on a user’s smartphone.
2. Select “Accept Tickets.”
3. The invitee will enter their Ticketmaster email address.
4. Select Continue.
5. If no Ticketmaster account is associated with the email address provided, the invitee will be prompted to sign up for a new Ticketmaster account.
6. Enter all required information:
a. Password
b. First Name
c. Last Name
d. Zip/Postal Code
e. Check second box to acknowledge Terms of Use. The first box is optional.
7. Select Next.
8. Select Verify My Email.
9. Navigate to your email to see an email from Ticketmaster with a one-time code. Enter the one-time code in the One-Time Code field.
10. Select Confirm Code.
11. Select Add & Verify Your Phone Number.
12. Enter a phone number.
13. Select Add Number.
14. Select Verify My Phone.
15. Enter the code sent to that phone number into the One-Time Code field.
16. Select Confirm Code.
17. Select Done or Login to enter the invitee’s Ticketmaster account.
