Background Information
Team Dynamix is the Enterprise’s ticket management system used to submit and track tickets relating to Team Member requests. The following Job Aide will show the steps to merging one ticket to another main ticket in Team Dynamix.
Merging a Source Ticket Into the Main Ticket
- Navigate to the source ticket you’d like to merge into the main ticket and open the source ticket.
- Select the Actions drop-down menu.
- Select Merge Into.
- Under the To Ticket field, enter the Ticket ID # of the main ticket.
- Select the title of the main ticket.
- Under the To Ticket field, select any of the optional boxes:
- Add Requestor as Contact: this action will add the requestor of the source ticket into the main ticket.
- Move Ticket Tasks: this action will transfer all ticket tasks from the source ticket into the main ticket.
- Notify Responsible Resource: this action will notify via email the group/individual responsible for the main ticket.
- Select Save.
- The main ticket, now two tickets merged into one, will appear. A comment is automatically added notifying of this merging action.
