Wisenet - Reviewing Valet Camera Footage (TSR)

Background Information

This Job Aide will review the steps for reviewing camera footage from Wisenet and opening this footage in VLC Media Player at the TSR location only.

Reviewing Footage Through Wisenet

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. In the address bar, input 10.43.75.5
   1. This pulls up the Wisenet Recorder Webviewer.
3. Input your username and password in the appropriate fields.
4. The Wisenet home screen appears.
5. Select Search from the top navigational ribbon.
6. Select the camera you’d like to view under Target Device.
7. Select the date from the calendar at the bottom of the screen.
8. Select the export icon to export the footage.
9. Input the exact time you would like to export in the Start time & End time fields.
10. Select Ok.
11. The file will save to your Desktop.
12. Be sure to use Microsoft Onedrive to send your file via email.

Reviewing Footage in VLC Media Player

Once the file has been exported successfully, use VLC Media Player to play back the footage. Follow these steps to review the footage:

1. Navigate to your Desktop where the file is stored.
2. Right click the file and hover your mouse over Open with. Then, select VLC Media Player.
3. Select the Play icon to play the footage. Other applicable icons to review the footage are to the right of the Play icon.
