Company Email on a Personal Device

Background Information

Adding company email to a personal device will allow users to access, read, reply, and use company email from a personal device while on or off company property, while connected to a mobile service provider or WiFi. This Job Aide walks through the steps to set up company email on a personal device.

Important Warning

If an employee connects their personal device to the Salt River Gaming Enterprises email service, they understand and agree to abide by all IT Policies and Procedures as well as all email security features. Please address any non-technical related questions to the Human Resources department, or your departments Management team.

Setting Up Email on an iPhone

  1. From the home screen of your Iphone, Tap “Settings”.
  2. Scroll down the settings options to “Mail” and Tap it.
  3. Scroll down the Mail options to “Accounts” and Tap it.
  4. Scroll down the Accounts options to “Add Account” and Tap it.
  5. Tap “Microsoft Exchange“.
  6. Enter your company email address in the “Email” section.
  7. Enter the word “Work” as the “Description” and then Tap “Next”.
  8. The pop up screen will ask which option you would like. Tap “Configure Manually”.
  9. Enter your company password in the “Password” section and then Tap “Next”.
    • The Email password is your Windows password used to log in to a work computer.
  10. Enter “owa.casinoaz.com” in the “Server” field and Enter “Casino” in the “Domain” field.
  11. In the “Username” field Enter your Windows User Name, and Enter your company password in the “Password” field, and Tap “Next”.
  12. On the next screen, assure that only “Mail”, “Contacts”, and “Calendars” are enabled with the slider buttons, and Tap “Save”.

Setting Up Email on an Android

  1. Tap on the “Email” Icon then Tap on “Corporate”.
  2. Enter your company email address in the “Email” section.
  3. Enter your company password in the “Password”.
    • The Email password is your Windows password used to log in to a work computer.
  4. Tap “Manual Setup”.
  5. In the “Domain” field, enter “casino\ AD Username” (ex. casino\ChristopherV)
  6. In the “Exchange server” field, Enter “owa.casinoaz.com” and Tap “Next”
  7. Update the “Email Sync Period” to “1 Month”, and Tap “Done”, then Tap “Activate”.
  8. On the “Edit names” screen, Change “Account Name” to “Work”, and Tap “Done”.
  9. On the “Activate device admin app” screen, Tap “Activate”.
  10. Tap “Done”.
