Poker - Tournament Registration

Background Information

Ameranth is a Poker Management System that allows selected staff to signup and register players for tournaments. Poker Cage Cashiers have the responsibility of selling seats to players prior to tournaments, and possibly refunding registration fees. This Job Aid outlines how to perform these actions.

Sell a Seat to a Tournament

  1. Press the Tournaments button
  2. Select the desired tournament from the list
  3. Press the OK button
  4. Press the Sell a Seat button
  5. Type the Player’s First Name in the Player’s Name field
  6. Press the OK button, 2 copies of the receipt will automatically print
  7. Provide one copy of the receipt to the player and place one in your drawer

NOTE: Tournaments cannot be created from the Tournament Registration application, only from the Tournament Manager.

Refunding a Tournament Registration Fee

  1. Press the Tournaments button
  2. Select the desired tournament from the list
  3. Press the OK button
  4. Click the name of the person whose fee is to be refunded
  5. Press the Refund button, 2 confirmations will automatically print
  6. Provide one copy of the receipt to the player and place one in your drawer

Add Seats to a Table

If directed to do so by Poker Management, Poker Cage Cashiers have the ability to open additional seats at specific tables. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Press the Tournaments button
  2. Select the desired Tournament from the list
  3. Press the OK button
  4. Press the Tables and Seats button
  5. Click the appropriate table number
  6. Check or uncheck seats to make them available as directed by Poker Management.
  7. Press the Close button
