Background Information

  • Talking Stick Resort has free wireless internet access for guests, and for-fee high speed wired internet access.
  • The IT Department does not provide in-room setup or troubleshooting support for guest computers or software
  • Do not provide IT Department contact information to guests

Guest Room Internet Access

All of TSR has access to the wireless network, free of charge. Guests wishing to connect their wireless devices to the network can do so by following these steps:

  1. Turn on the computer or wireless device.
  2. Connect to wireless:
    Chaparral: CH-Guest
    TSR: TSR-Guest
    CAZ: CAZ-Guest
  3. Guest will be redirected to Accept Page. Click Accept.
  4. Guest will be redirected to location’s Home Page.
  5. If the guest is not redirected, Open a web browser.

Business Center Internet Access

PSAV is responsible for Business Center Internet Access. Guests can reach PSAV by dialing extension 4072 from a house phone. TSR employees can reach PSAV through the Push-to-Talk phones by dialing 432 or 433.

  • Resort Guests have access to Business Center using their guest keys (VingCards).
  • Non-Resort guests wishing to use the Business Center are allowed free access during business hours (6am-6pm) but must be “swiped in” by PSAV or Security outside of regular hours.
  • The Business Center uses dual-platform Apple Mac computers. This means they can be used as a Mac or Windows system.
  • There is a Fee for all services in Business Center (computer use is $5.99 for 15 minutes of use, all other charges are listed in the Business Center, receipts can be printed or e-mailed to the guest).

NOTE: Business Center copiers make color copies by default. If black and white copies are sufficient, this setting can be changed prior to making the copies to save the guest money.

Conference Room Internet Access

PSAV is responsible for Conference Room Internet Access. Guests can reach PSAV by dialing extension 4072 from a house phone. TSR employees can reach PSAV through the Push-to-Talk phones by dialing 432 or 433.

  • Internet access in the conference rooms is managed by PSAV.
  • Wireless is free in the conference rooms.
  • Wired internet connections can be provided in the conference rooms but there is a fee per line, this should be arranged prior to the event, but can be set up by PSAV on short notice if necessary.​​​​​​​

Is there a charge for wireless internet access?

No. Wireless Internet Access is free for all guests. Free for all guests

Is a password required for wireless internet access?

No password is required to gain Wireless Internet Access. An acceptance page will appear, and the guest should click Accept. The guest will be directed to the location’s Home Page. No password, just the Accept page acceptance

Who is the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the Talking Stick Resort?

Saddleback Communications – They uplink to AT&T and Cox Communications.

What speed is the connection (Bandwidth)?

The connection is a 200MB Ethernet connection at TSR, 100MB at CAZ & Chaparral

Does the resort provide static IP addresses?

Static IP Address can be provided in the conference rooms for a fee

What WiFi standards does the resort support?

The Talking Stick Resort supports WiFi b/g standards

Does the resort provide QoS (quality of service) for wired Internet connections?

      Yes, for the conference space wired connections
