Background Information

This Job Aide provides background information and outlines the steps to generate MLIST Reports using SDS.  There are two types of MLIST Reports, a standard MLIST and a Fast MLIST.

Opening the SDS Main Menu

All of the Reports listed below provide instructions based on the user being at the SDS main menu.

  1. Double-click the SDS icon for the location you want to access (SDS-TS or SDS-MK)
  2. Type sds for the login: and press Enter on your keyboard
  3. Type sdsii for the sds’s password and press Enter on your keyboard
  4. Type your Employee ID (typically the last four digits of your badge number) and press Enter on your keyboard
  5. Type your password and press Enter on your keyboard
  6. Press Enter to open the SDS Main Menu

Fast MLIST

Provides a list of detailed transactions for a single slot machine.  This report is a diagnostic tool that is typically used by slot technicians who are checking communication, exception codes (up to 500), and basic functions for a slot machine, such as coin in, coin out, card in, card out and so on.  The instructions below assume that the user is already viewing the SDS Main Menu.

MLIST

The Machine List (MLIST) Report displays detailed transactions about a slot machine for a specified date and time or range. Shows historical activity on a slot machine by providing a snapshot of activity including the date and time of events, the amount paid for a handpaid jackpot, the time a player’s card was removed, date and time a ticket was printed or redeemed and more.  The instructions below assume that the user is already viewing the SDS Main Menu.
