Background Information
Poker Room now has the ability to utilize the Omaha High Hand Display to broadcast, to any desired TV, the Bravo Random Seat and Progressive Monte Carlo. This Job Aide provides a walkthrough on changing the resolution on this PC from 1920 x 1080 to 800 x 600. This allows the Progressive Monte Carlo and Bravo Random Seat to take up the whole screen. The resolution must be changed back to 1920 x 1080 for Bravo High Hand (normal use).
Steps to Change Resolution
The Windows Taskbar is configured to Auto-Hide, so it doesn’t interfere with the TV displays. To view the Windows Taskbar, press the Windows Key on the keyboard or scroll the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen.
From the Omaha High Hand Display PC:
- Left-click on the blue thunderbolt icon on the Windows Taskbar.
- Left-click on the monitor icon on the left.
- Click the drop-down list under Resolution, and choose 800 x 600.
- Note: This is used whenever Bravo Random Seat and Progressive Monte Carlo are being displayed on this PC. When using this display for Bravo High Hand, the resolution MUST be changed back to 1920 x 1080.
- Note: In order to change the resolution back to 1920 x 1080, follow steps 1 through 4.
- Click Keep on the prompt “Are you sure you want to keep the changes?”
Switching Between Bravo Features
When switching between features in Bravo it is important to follow these steps.
From Bravo High Hand to Another Feature:
- Close out of High Hand by clicking Shutdown
- Proceed to select another Bravo application by double clicking that application from your desktop
From Bravo Random Seat to Bravo High Hand:
- Close out of Random Seat by clicking Exit
- Proceed to double click Bravo High Hand Display application
From Bravo High Hand or Bravo Random Seat to Monte Carlo:
- Follow above steps to close out of either High Hand or Random Seat
- Proceed to double click Progressive Monte Carlo Slide PDF file on the desktop
