Background Information
Microsoft Word is a computer program that is used for creating documents.
There are several actions that can be taken in Microsoft Word listed below.
Opening Microsoft Word
- First, click on the Microsoft Word icon at the bottom of the screen. At the next screen click on Blank document.
- On the next screen click on the keyboard at the bottom right of the screen.
- At the next, smaller screen click on the keyboard icon as well.
- Select the icon showing a box with a pen inside it.
- On the next screen use the Surface Pro 3 pen to take notes. You can write within the box using the Surface Pro3 pen.
- After handwriting with Surface Pro 3 pen, wait two seconds for the handwriting to convert to text.
- Once the handwriting has been converted to text, click on the “Insert” button with the pen, mouse, or finger.
