Background Information

Microsoft OneNote is a computer program that is used for taking notes.

There are several actions that can be taken in Microsoft OneNote listed below.

Opening Microsoft OneNote

  1. First, click on the Microsoft OneNote icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. When the next page opens, tap the point of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 pen on any blank part of the screen.
  3. At the screen shown next choose “2 buttons”.
  4. On the next screen, choose "Got it."
  5. Finally, choose "Done."
  6. Once the pen has been configured, click the double sided arrow to begin.
  7. On the following screen click the plus sign next to Add Page.
  8. On the following screen one can type or use the pen to take notes in the white space of the screen below.
