Center for Learning - Getting Started

Background Information

Casino Arizona’s Learning Management System (LMS) is called Center for Learning. The Center for Learning is a portal that every employee can access. Required trainings, such as Compliance courses, will be assigned via the LMS.

The Center for Learning can be accessed from a network machine, or the computers located in the Employee Dining Rooms.

Log In

  1. Open The Source from your tiles section in the Start Menu.
  2. On the Source, scroll down to the WebApps Links drop-down underneath Employee Quicklinks. Select Center for Learning.
  3. Welcome to the Center for Leaning (LMS) Log In page.
    • Use your CGL badge number (do not include the dash) as your username
    • Your first temporary password is: Newhire1
    • Click Login (or click Enter on Keyboard)

First Login - Reset Password & Security Questions

Upon first login, you will receive instructions to reset the password, and add Security questions. Keep in mind:

  • Passwords must contain both upper and lower case letters
  • Passwords cannot have three or more consecutive same characters
  • Passwords cannot be the same as the previous 3 passwords
  • Passwords must be 8 - 20 characters
  • Passwords cannot have leading or trailing spaces
  • Passwords cannot be the same as the username, user ID or email address

Password Reset

  • Enter temporary password
  • Enter your new password, following the password guidelines listed above
  • Click Save

Security Questions

  • Questions are not required, but are a good idea. The Security questions will allow you access to your account if you forget your password. Answers must be at least 3 characters in length.
  • Use the Security Question drop-down to choose your question.
  • Provide the answer twice in the remaining fields.
  • Click Continue

Below are brief descriptions of the tools, buttons, and options on the Learner Home Page.

Global Navigation

  • CAZ/TSR Logo (click the Logo at any time ot return to the Learner Home Page)
  • Toolbar: My Learning contains:
    • Learner Home - navigate to the Learner Home screen
    • View Your Transcript - view transcript, assigned and completed trainings
    • Events Calendar - view upcoming courses in the Calendar view
    • Universal Profile - view your profile settings
  • My Account > Options Drop-down: change your password and security questions here

Transcript Panel

  • Displays assigned training prioritized by due date

Learning Carousels

  • View upcoming classes, or continue eLearning videos by clicking on Launch at each class tile
