Background Information
HALO is a Team Member Recognition Application that allows Team Members to accrue and redeem points for Logoed Items, Merchandise, Experiences, or Digital Gift Cards. Additionally, Team Members can nominate Team Members for Recognition awards, send congratulatory and celebratory messages in recognition of milestones and birthdays. The following Job Aid walks through the Halo Recognition Features.
Team member and Safety REcognition
From the Halo Dashboard, Team Members can recognize other Team Members with an Ecard celebrating a milestone or occasion, the Team Member Recognition nomination, or the Safety Nomination,
The Recognition program and Safety Committee tiles will redirect you to the nomination forms where you can nominate other Team Members for their Excellent or Safe acts accordingly.
ECards
- From the Halo Dashboard, click the “Ecards” tile.
- From the Ecards landing page, select the theme or type of card you would like to send.
- On the “Compose Ecard” page, in the “Select Employee (s)” section, type in the first name, department, or email of the team member you are sending a card to and click “Search”.
- In the “Select Employee (s)” pop up, check the box next to the Team Member you are sending a card to, and click “Add Selected”.
- In the “Compose Message” section, you can choose to send the card at a later and specific date and time by checking the “Send Later” box, and selecting the date and time you would like the Team Member to receive the card. Otherwise, you can have the option to add a message in the Message field and click “Submit Ecard” when you are ready to send.
- When you submit the Ecard, you will be redirected to a landing page notifying you the card was sent successfully. You will see the card and message displayed on this screen. Click “Back to Home” to return to the Dashboard.
Privacy Settings
- To change your privacy settings and limit who can see anniversary dates or birthdays, you will need to edit the settings by clicking on the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select “Profile & Account Settings”.
- In the “Manage Profile” screen, click “Email & Subscriptions”. In this section you will find various privacy and notifications settings you can adjust to your preferences. When you have made all the changes you’d like, click “Save” to save the settings.
