Background Information

This Job Aide is strictly for the web-based version of Zoom, not the desktop application. The following Job Aide will guide you through the steps of enabling your microphone and/or camera in the Zoom web-based application.

Enabling Microphone and/or Camera

  1. Launch a new Google Chrome browser and navigate to app.zoom.com.
  2. To the left of the URL field, select the Site Information icon.
  3. Select Site settings.
  4. Under Permissions, select the Microphone and/or Camera drop-down menu and select Allow.
  5. Once those have been enabled, return to app.zoom.com and Refresh the page. The Microphone and/or Camera have now been enabled.
