Google Chrome - Enabling Third-Party Cookies

Background Information

Enabling third-party cookies in Google Chrome will allow certain application features and tools to work as intended. The following Job Aide will guide you through the steps of enabling third-party cookies in Google Chrome.

Enabling Third-Party Cookies in Chrome Through Settings

  1. Launch a new Google Chrome browser.
  2. In the top right corner of the screen, select the ellipses icon (three dots).
  3. Select Settings.
  4. From the left-hand menu, select Privacy and security.
  5. Select Third-party cookies.
  6. Under the Sites allowed to use third-party cookies section, select Add.
  7. Copy and paste the URL for the third-party website into the Site field. Select Add. Third-party cookies are now enabled for that website.

Enabling Third-Party Cookies Within a Website

  1. Launch a new Google Chrome browser and navigate to a third-party website.
  2. To the left of the URL field, select the Site Information icon.
  3. Select Cookies and site data.
  4. Enable Third-party cookies at the bottom of the menu. Cookies are now enabled for that website.
