Background Information
OneDrive is a web-based environment for file storage and collaboration. This Job Aide lists the steps of how to sync OneDrive files to File Explorer.
Logging Into OneDrive Online
- Log into OneDrive via a web browser or directly through The Source:
- Go directly to https://casinoaz.onedrive.com
- OR: Navigate to The Source. Select the Global Navigation icon in the top, lefthand corner (3x3 boxes icon). From the drop-down, select OneDrive.
- Enter your Windows username followed by @casinoaz.com in the username field. (EX: ChristopherV@casinoaz.com). If you have a @talkingstickresort.com email address, you will use the above username convention, not your email address. Click Next.
- Enter your windows password in the password field. Click Sign In.
Syncing OneDrive Files to File Explorer
- From the OneDrive home screen, select the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select Sync this OneDrive.
- A message window appears confirming your files are being synced. Close the message and proceed to the next step.
- Open the Start Menu.
- Scroll down the applications column and select OneDrive.
- You may receive an additional prompt to log into OneDrive from this File Explorer location.
- Use the same credentials used to log into the OneDrive web page.
- Upon logging in, OneDrive will appear in the left-hand navigational panel of File Explorer. Select OneDrive.
- Your synced files now appear in File Explorer. Please note that it may take a short time for the files to appear in your OneDrive File Explorer.
